Yellow and red

Working seven days in a row is not particularly fun, especially when it's the evening shift and I have to start getting ready for work at about 11.45 in the morning. Not much time to do your own thing. But, once it's saturday I get four days off in a row! Followed by another eight days straigt of work. I can't say that I'm liking this whole "open shops on sunday" thing. Although I wouldn't mind it - as long as I didn't have to work...

Here's the rest of the stuff I bought in Vasa. The checked red and white skirt cannot wait for the weather to get warmer, and neither can I.

I could not resist this mustard coloured jacket, and it was the biggest gamble of all my purchases I think. It just fit me so well. Just like the red, the blue, the beige and the brown jackets that are very, very similar to this one. Ehem, adding colour to my wardrobe will have to be my excuse.

This dark red skirt also fit me very well, and I really liked the fact that it got a little bit wider starting from just above the knee. Oh, summer, come soon! I've got so many nice things to wear when it gets warm...

Change of plans

Guess where this kitten will be spending new years eve? In Milan! My bf has a long holiday over x-mas and he wanted to go somewhere...So we're taking a ryanair flight over to Milan for a (very) short stay. I'm so excited!


The camera I wanted was unfortunately sold, so now, unless another one for as good a price shows up, I'll be putting my monies towards the trip. Can't have it all!

Right, now I need to get ready for work again. This week is not that great, work from 13 to 21 every day? I have no time to do my own thing! Well, it'll be over soon. Right?

Stormy weather

A few night ago the view from from my kitchen window was this calm and blue and snowy.

Last night it looked like this;

There was a bit of a storm, you see.

Enough of a storm actually, for me to be greated by this sight in the morning.

I'm fairly sure that tree was standing straight the night before...?

I had a good weekend even though I had to work sunday. My bf took me winter bathing again, and this time there was a bit of snow and even some thin ice further out on the water.

Coming up is two days of 5 hour evening shifts, then two days off, then 8(!) days of work in a row...Including sat & sun shifts of 9 hours each. My life still has room for improvment, to say the least. Oh well, at least I'm not working christmas eve - no wait, I am. Crap.
