So many bottles so little time!

Kram!Erikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08762815696807107905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4320183722123574208.post-25881680351380273342010-10-22T12:48:40.748+02:002010-10-22T12:48:40.748+02:00thank you for your answer! Bak...Ina; Thank you, glad you found it interesting! Baking soda is the answer. The first few weeks _should_ not really be a problem if you wash with baking soda, but at first you'll probably have to wash quite often as the hair is still overproducing oils. (I didn't, let me know how it goes if you do). Baking soda should also remove any product, such as hairspray, but I have not personally tried this yet. So what I would do is use baking soda at first, then try water only and use baking soda again only when necessary. Hair dyeing should not be a problem, apart from the whole "might not be so good for you hair OR the environment" -thing ;)

I found a helpful site you might wanna check out; http://babyslime.livejournal.com/174054.html

Shallow Mallow; Thank you! It's worth a try, you can always go back to shampoo or try the conditioner-only method as an alternative.

Laucica; Thanks!! The worst thing that could happen is that your hair looks greasy for a while ;) And you can always go back to shampoo.

Casey; Oh, thanks! :) I almost went back to shampoo a few times...but the baking soda really helped! I also did A LOT of research before I started, here's one of the better sites I found; http://babyslime.livejournal.com/174054.html
I'll mention how it goes with the pin-curls in my next post, so far so good!Kitten loves vintagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13017528963350739781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4320183722123574208.post-3571113259078087602010-10-20T14:48:52.860+02:002010-10-20T14:48:52.860+02:00I love that picture of you--you're so cute!!! ...I love that picture of you--you're so cute!!! :)

I've been toying with the idea of going no-poo for a long, long time. I tried it once a couple years ago and chickened out. lol. I'd like to try it again though, as I really have a hard time with the chemicals in shampoo, plus the idea of not having to wash my hair 4 times a week is appealing... ;)

Can't wait to hear about the results with the pincurls on your no-poo hair!

♥ Casey | blogCaseyhttp://blog.caseybrowndesigns.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4320183722123574208.post-67547145859484148222010-10-20T13:24:57.649+02:002010-10-20T13:24:57.649+02:00WOW! I've been interested in this for a while (my boyfriend's been doing it for years, but he's got short hair, too), but am not sure if I can stand the first weeks of greasy hair ... I already use natural certificated schampoo and wash my hair only twice a week, but I could go even one step further.
Some questions I do have:
I dye my hair about four times a year - do you think this will spoil everything? If I want to dye it "naturally" I have to change my hairdresser and I don't wanna do that since I'm so happy with my present. Perhaps I could stop dying completely since I'm going closer to my own colour, but I'm not there quite yet.
And what about other hairproducts like hairspray and -powder (chemicals, heh), are they easy to get off with only water? My boyfriend gets his stuff off, but again, his hair is short...inahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11990125225559216809noreply@blogger.com
